We’re thrilled to share some magical news straight from Disneyland Paris that’s perfect for Castle Coaches Travel clients dreaming of their next European adventure: on March 29, 2026, the second gate at Disneyland Paris — formerly known as Walt Disney Studios Park — will officially relaunch as Disney Adventure World.
This grand transformation is part of a sweeping overhaul that nearly doubles the size of the park — meaning more thrills, more stories, and more memories than ever before.
What’s Waiting for You at Disney Adventure World?
Disney Adventure World will bring together immersive lands, new attractions, and upgraded experiences — including:
World of Frozen: A Grand New Chapter at Disneyland Paris — Step into Arendelle! World of Frozen will officially debut as part of Disney Adventure World, bringing the magic of Arendelle to life with breathtaking detail. The land will feature the towering North Mountain, crowned by Elsa’s Ice Palace, along with a bustling village square inspired by Nordic design.
At the center of the land is Frozen Ever After, a family-friendly boat adventure that invites you to relive beloved moments from the films. Fans may recognize this attraction from EPCOT at Walt Disney World and Hong Kong Disneyland, but Disneyland Paris is taking things even further with new effects, upgraded technology, and some of the most impressive Audio-Animatronics ever created.

Inside Arendelle Castle, guests can enjoy a Royal Encounter with Anna and Elsa with personal interaction and photo opportunities. Throughout Arendelle Village you will also encounter familiar faces such as Oaken or Mossie, an adorable baby troll eager to make new friends.

The magic of Arendelle extends to its shimmering bay, where “A Celebration in Arendelle” brings the Snowflower Festival to life. Presented several times a day, the show unfolds aboard three majestic Viking longships, each crafted with extraordinary care.
Walt Disney Imagineering partnered with a renowned French shipbuilder from the Bordeaux region to design and build these vessels. Their intricate decorations were entrusted to artisans who have long collaborated with Disneyland Paris. For example, Kristoff’s longship was made by a historic workshop near Dijon known for its exceptional craftsmanship. These authentic touches create a setting as rich and detailed as the story itself.

The new area will also include:
Nordic Crowns Tavern for hearty quick-service fare
Arendelle Boutique featuring exclusive Frozen-themed merchandise
Interactive touches, including the chance to meet Rúna, an adorable baby troll companion
A brand-new musical score composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the award-winning team behind the original Frozen songs
Every detail — from handcrafted décor to a new musical score by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez — pushes storytelling to new heights. And yes, Castle Coaches Travel will help you plan the perfect way to experience it all.
That commitment to next-level immersion continues with the exciting debut of a next-generation Olaf robotic character, unveiled during a press conference on November 24, 2025. Introduced by Bruce Vaughn, President and Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Imagineering, and Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris, this new Olaf is one of Disney’s most advanced character creations yet.

Developed through a collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development, Disney Live Entertainment, and Walt Disney Animation Studios, this incredibly lifelike Olaf will appear in the Arendelle Bay show at World of Frozen when Disney Adventure World opens. He’ll also make limited-time appearances at Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen.
Thanks to cutting-edge robotics, Olaf can move, emote, and interact with guests and fellow characters in a way that mirrors his on-screen charm—continuing Disney’s push to bring animated favorites into the real world with unmatched authenticity.
Guests eager to see how Imagineering brought this innovation to life can check out the newest episode of We Call It Imagineering on the Walt Disney Imagineering YouTube channel.
Disney Cascade of Lights—A groundbreaking nighttime spectacular inspired by stories from Disney Animation’s Mulan, Hercules, Moana and Zootopia, Pixar’s Up, and from the Marvel Universe. The show displays a dazzling celebration of courage and imagination. Located on Adventure Bay, the new nighttime spectacular will feature the world’s first integration of a revolutionary aquatic drone system alongside next-generation aerial drones and the original anthem, “We Can Be Heroes.” This 360° show will serve as the grand finale each evening with a ballet of hundreds of drones, choreographed fountains, water screens, and pyrotechnics, all set to a powerful orchestral score. In the months ahead, the Disney Live Entertainment team will be hard at work perfecting the choreography of aerial and aquatic drones, blending cutting-edge special effects with seamless precision.

Promenade of Adventure Way —Venture through Adventure Way, a brand-new promenade lined with lush gardens, themed entertainment, a new attraction and 14 new food and dining spots. The stunning new gardens throughout the area are shaped by stories from across Disney and Pixar. You’ll stroll through the romantic Tangled Garden, then wander into the cheerful Toy Story Garden, where Woody and Jessie appear among topiaries trimmed to look like giant toys.

Further along, The Gazebo Garden offers a peaceful, English-inspired hideaway filled with bronze sculptures celebrating classics like Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and One Hundred and One Dalmatians.
Throughout the year, the space will come alive with seasonal entertainment. Spring will feature Rapunzel and Flynn’s Musical Encounter, summer brings Mary Poppins with the Pearly Band, fall celebrates Miguel’s Latin Festival, and beginning next November, a variety of characters will greet guests in the gardens. Minnie Mouse will also lead the energetic Disney Marching Band, a 12-musician ensemble performing upbeat favorites from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel as they parade down Adventure Way.
And there’s more to discover. Along the picturesque shoreline of Adventure Bay, the West Pavilion will invite guests to relax in a charming early-20th-century–inspired setting. Mickey and Minnie will appear in brand-new Victorian outfits designed and created by the Disneyland Paris Costume Workshop. After the 2026 opening, even more Disney friends will begin joining in on the lakeside magic.

Raiponce Tangled Spin — A New Family Adventure —One of the highlights we can’t wait to share with our Castle Coaches Travel families is the debut of Raiponce Tangled Spin, a charming new attraction coming to Adventure Way. Inspired by Disney’s Tangled, this family-friendly ride invites you to glide in a gondola beneath a sky filled with glowing lanterns while the unforgettable “I See the Light” plays around you.
In an extra magical touch, Mandy Moore — the original voice of Rapunzel — has recorded exclusive audio announcements just for this attraction. It’s a must-do experience for any Tangled fan and a perfect addition to your Disneyland Paris itinerary.

A Royal Dining Moment: The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge —Just steps away from the Tangled-inspired attraction is the stunning new Regal View Restaurant & Lounge—a must-do for Disney foodies and anyone who loves a beautifully themed dining experience. This elegant table-service location will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a warm, refined setting filled with embroidered draperies, floral tapestries, intricate woodwork, and gorgeous princess-themed murals.

And yes—you’ll be able to meet several Disney Princesses while you dine, including Belle, Merida, Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan, and Ariel.

Every corner of this restaurant is filled with artisanal craftsmanship. The princess-inspired decorative plates are handcrafted by Royal Delft, the famous Dutch porcelain maker and supplier to the Dutch royal family. Even the grand canopy above the entrance is a piece of art, created by historic workshops in Alsace with ironworking traditions that date back to the 1800s.

On the lounge side, Disneyland Paris is introducing something completely new—its very first in-park bar. Draped in regal blue and accented with golden details, the lounge features a beautifully carved wooden bar and playful artwork highlighting the beloved sidekicks of Disney Princesses—think Heihei, Pascal, and Mushu. Guests can unwind with signature cocktails and enjoy an atmosphere that blends sophistication with storytelling.

Both the restaurant and lounge overlook Adventure Bay and World of Frozen, making this one of the most picturesque places in the park—especially for catching the brand-new nighttime spectacular.
Even More Tastes to Explore Along Adventure Way—
Adventure Way will offer 14 brand-new dining locations, giving guests plenty of opportunities to snack, sip, and savor.
La Terrasse Panoramique will serve warm bread bowls, New York–style rolls, and cozy hot beverages—perfect for a relaxing break with a view.
Café Luminosity will introduce its own take on the classic hot dog with four exclusive recipes, paired with sweet options like cinnamon rolls.
Around the promenade, chalets and mobile carts will offer unique bites such as filled brioche rolls, savory stuffed potato waffles, and whimsical desserts inspired by various Disney Princesses.
It’s a foodie paradise waiting to be explored—and we can already picture our clients trying everything on the list.
A New Soundtrack for a New Adventure —As you make your way into Adventure Way, you’ll be greeted by an all-new musical score created just for this promenade. This original 40-minute composition, recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, sets the tone for the entire area—enhancing the dreamy gardens, gorgeous architecture, and vibrant entertainment that bring this experience to life.
Disney Adventure World is set to become a must-visit destination when it opens on March 29, 2026. With its mix of thrilling rides, immersive environments, and themed dining, it promises to deliver the magic and excitement that Disney is known for. Whether you seek adrenaline-pumping adventures or enchanting moments, this new land will offer something memorable for every guest.
The Story Continues – Rewritten Section — And the adventure doesn’t stop there! Construction is already moving forward on the first-ever land dedicated entirely to Disney Animation’s The Lion King. Located along Adventure Bay, this land will feature a major attraction that blends water-based thrills with next-generation Audio-Animatronics and the unforgettable music from the 1994 classic. Guests will journey deep into the Pride Lands and follow Simba through an epic retelling of his story.

Soon after, guests will also be able to soar into the colorful, imaginative world of Pixar’s Up on a family-friendly flying carousel that adds even more charm and motion to Adventure Way.

Disney Adventure World is almost here, and we’re counting down the days. Stay tuned — Castle Coaches Travel will continue to bring you updates straight from the Disney Parks Blog so you’ll always know what’s coming next.
