Plan Ahead

Orlando International Airport is designed to accommodate families with children, offering various amenities and services tailored to their needs. Before your trip, explore the airport's website to familiarize yourself with the family-friendly facilities, such as nursing rooms, play areas, and stroller rental services. Arriving prepared will help your family start the vacation on a positive note. We also recommend downloading the MCO App to help you navigate the airport like a pro.

Airport Layout

The MCO airport is straight forward. To get to the main terminal you will follow directions via signage to the shuttle station. The shuttle ride takes about 1 minute. Follow signs for either baggage claim or Terminal A or B. Arrivals and Baggage Claim are on Level 2. Curbside pick-up is on Level 2 as well while rental cars, taxis, shuttles, and busses are on Level 1.

Terminal C is a new addition to the MCO airport.

If you are connecting between Terminals A/B and Terminal C, there are two options: Terminal Link

  • The Terminal Link (APM) operates 24 hours per day, but requires a walk of approximately 1,200 feet, from Terminal C, Level 4 through Parking Garage C to the Train Station

Shuttle Bus

  • The shuttle bus service operates 24 hours a day

  • Pick-up and drop-off is at:

    • Terminal C: Level 1 (Ground Transportation) at Space C276

    • Terminal B: Level 1 (Ground Transportation) at Space B29

Expedite Security Screening with TSA PreCheck and CLEAR:

To minimize time spent going through security, consider enrolling in TSA PreCheck or CLEAR. TSA PreCheck allows for expedited screening, enabling you to keep shoes and jackets on and laptops in bags. Similarly, CLEAR provides a biometric-based identification system to speed up the security process, reducing waiting times for families. Keep in mind security lines can be long at MCO, especially during higher traffic times like spring break and the holidays.

Ground Transportation

You have many options for ground transportation at MCO. The most economical choice is going to be a ride share service like Uber and Lyft. Both are allowed for pick-up and drop-off. If you prefer private transportation and/or want a secure car seat or booster seat then we recommend Away We Go for safe and reliable transport.
